All of our services are available, regardless of where you purchased your equipment or where you previously went for service.
At Dvana when we talk about maintenance, we are talking about both Corrective Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance, both of these types of maintenance are essential with any computing or technical system.
Corrective maintenance is probably the most commonly used approach, but it has significant limitations. When equipment fails, it often leads to downtime in production or even data loss. In most cases this is costly to a business. At this point, the equipment needs to be replaced, the cost of replacing it alone can be significant without considering other "hidden" costs such as lost productivity.
Corrective maintenance can be defined as the maintenance which is required when an item has failed or worn out, to bring it back to working order. Corrective maintenance is carried out on all items where the consequences of failure or wearing out are not significant and the cost of this style maintenance is not greater than preventive maintenance or where the impact to the business is minimal.
So to avoid the problems of correcting unfortunate situations that have already arisen, many try to maintain equipment before it fails. Typically computing equipment, particularly the professional equipment, will indicate that a component is failing, enabling timely replacement. By doing this, the goal is to avoid failure, unnecessary production and data loss. As it is not possibly to continually maintain equipment a maintenance plan is created. Normally this is done by deciding some inspection/maintenance intervals, and sticking to this interval more or less affected by what you find during these activities. The result of this is that most of the maintenance performed is unnecessary, in that the component will not have failed yet.
Our Maintenance packages are designed to cover your ongoing investment, this is in addition to the warrantee which comes with each item. It enables you to not worry about the system, but have an expert come and do the routine or preventative maintenance on your behalf.
Dvana's Silver Maintenance Plan is a general preventative maintenance plan, which annually enables you to have an enhanced part replacement system, which means that parts will be sent out in the event of a failure rather than the standard Return-To-Base (RTB) which is the industry standard.
Coupled with this, we also offer an optional on-site maintenance visit, in which someone will come and provide preventative maintenance on the equipment, by following the maintenance plan.
Our Gold Maintenance Plan is an extension to the Silver Maintenance Plan, but provides an additional discounted maintenance visit, for two visits annually.
The Platinum Maintenance Plan provides all the benefits of the Gold Maintenance Plan with the added benefit of having selected spare parts already on hand, such as disk drives, so that in the event of a failure or indicated failure, that part can be replaced on site by one of your own personnel.
This level of maintenance also includes and additional site visit, for a total of three visits annually.
The On-Demand Maintenance Plan is for those businesses which require an ad-hoc maintenance visit, this is for those who prefer to do much of the maintenance themselves, but would like the occasional visit from an expert.
