We offer servers suitable for all business situations, talk with one of our knowledgeable staff and see how we can help you today.
Targeted at the smaller offices, with a larger range of tower case options, or narrow rack system options as well as normal racks. If your business has reached the point where a network has to be implemented and requires desktop/laptop backup or just somewhere to share files between users then these units are ideal. For increased capacity and redundancy ask us about pairing these devices with our NS 1000 series storage units or for add-on devices to expand capacity.
Below are a selection of different case types, the images are not to scale, and are for illustrative purposes only.

Micro TowerThe Micro Tower case is ideally suited to servers which have a simple single use and provide that function in a compact and unobtrusive manner. They are generally quiet and provide the most attractive look of all the case styles. Their size limits the range of components which can be added and the total specification of the server. |
Mini TowerA Mini Tower case is larger than the Micro Tower and so is able to house a greater variety of components. These cases tend to be more visible than the Micro Towers, and appear more like computers. Their main benefit of course is that they can contain additional components in addition to the variety and do provide for more expansion later, should it be needed. |
Full TowerThe Full Tower case is the largest of the free standing case styles and has the most room for expansion and for additional components. These cases will generally be floor standing and will require their own space. This style is generally ideal for servers requiring flexibility, but at a higher cost. We would recommend these cases for systems that really need the expansion capability, perhaps with Tesler cards. |

Short RackShort Rack servers require a rack mounted cabinet to insert the server into. The special feature of this case style is the lack of depth, so with a short depth cabinet, they will take up less room. As with all 1U height servers, there is a limit to what can be fitted, since they are limited in height to about 44.45 mm. The short rack server is ideally suited to operating as a compute node. |
1U Rack MountedThe 1U Rack Mounted servers are the height restricted (44.45mm) height, which means they are highly restricted in their expansion capacity. Generally, these servers are not upgradable, since they are already full. Like the Short Rack servers they require a cabinet to house them. |
2U Rack MountedA 2U Rack Mounted server is twice the height of a 1U device, and requires a housing cabinet. The extra height of these cases enables a wider range of components to be fitted and for greater expansion. Typically these are used for compute nodes featuring many CPUs or Tesla cards. |
